I can't understand what would be the reason for it to be taking so long to open up like 5-6 seconds. Is this any issue with prestashop 1.5 or how can i speed it up more? Dev On Web Posted February 27, 2013 Share Posted February 27, 2013 Hi, Please check your hosting and PrestaShop parameters (in performances tab). Cache must be "ON" and Smarty must be "never recompile template". You can activate the CCC for CCS and JS with carefully (depend of your theme). KamranMK Posted February 27, 2013 Author Share Posted February 27, 2013 They are on, I just want to ask you if having a shared hosting has anything to do with it since my webiste takes about 6 seconds to load, do you think having a dedicated server would solve this issue?
