Creating/editing Products Errors

I am having difficulties when creating a new or editing a current product. - 3 things

 

1. Whenever I click the Prices tab it just loads a blank area where the prices info should be, I need to click 'save and stay' while on this tab just to load the tab up and this doesnt even work every time.

 

2. no matter what i edit within a product i always get "3 errors

1. This field friendly URL is required at least in English (English)
   
2. product must be in at least one Category
   
3. product must be in the default category"
   

Even though that information is already there i need to load the tab up and click save for each of the errors.

 

 

3. I can't edit the information on the 'information' tab. when it loads the product to be edited no matter what i change the 'save' buttons dont appear. the frustrating part is they do appear once i have visited another tab.

 

my biggest dilemma is:

 

I want to edit the description so i load up the edit product page, I go to another tab and then back to information to allow me to save the edit, i click save, the errors appear so i go to each of the error'd tabs and click save on them, go back to information (because it doesnt save the edit on the description if there is errors on other tabs), re edit the description, click save and the other errors come up again.

 

Can anyone help me please!?

 

I am okay with editing code if needs be however you will need to give me a very basic approach to it. eg. Dont just say edit the blahblah.php you would need to tell me where this is
