Hi guys,

 

I'm unable to create a new order for a customer via the Orders -> Create orders page.

 

whenever I try to add a product to the carts, a prompt appears saying

 

"You already have the maximum quantity for this product".

 

Any help is appreciated.

Hi, it seems you are out of stock for this product.

1) you can check product availability in your stock and if it is zero, you can add 1 or more items to stock manually

2) you can go to preferences -> products -> and set "Allow ordering of out-of-stock products" to yes

Thanks for the reply. I'm am 100% certain that there is enough stock for that product I want to create order for.

 

Is this a bug of 1.5.3?

there may be other limiting factors: - country & shipping restrictions, weight/price restrictions

 

! and also check that your product status is "enabled" and "available for order"

I have checked all possible factors but the problem still persists.

 

The product status is already set to "enabled" and "available for order".

 

Instead of adding the product to the cart (when I create a manual order), it displays the "You already have the maximum quantity for this product" message.

it's resolved now.. my product was in

Catalog mode

mode. I took it off catalog mode and I don't have the issue anymore.

Nice to hear that

 

Maybe developers could diversify error codes for the purpose of better user friendliness
