El Patron
it states it's on compatible with 1.4.7, which really means it's compatible with most 1.4 if a module or theme does not state specifically that it is compliant with your version, assume it is not

Thanks again I more question, what's the difference in 1.4 and 1.5, I think to install old version and buy that template. I like it. Do you recommend to do so? El Patron
There is a huge difference in 1.4 and 1.5... It won't work...you will spend days and nights pulling your hair out by the roots, destroying your shop in the process...asking loads of questions on here driving everyone crazy...., and...don't even think about trying to upgrade it for 1.5...either yourself or hiring someone.... believe me now, thank me later
El Patron
and another thing, before loading any template... back up your root files, and dump you mysql database....

So you don't recommend installing 1.4.9 right? I don't know what to do, Why Prestashop representative says there is not many changes I wonder. Is there any way to make that template work on 1.5 Engine?

Thank you so much. Better to learn from experienced person, then to experience everything by myself. I will stick with new version and try to find new template
El Patron
another little tip... get your products, taxes, shipping, checkout etc...all working and tested...then back it all up... do not load any template without having first backed up all your site files and db....

Even in interface there is huge difference, I just saw old version. Is there any chance that 4000 series templates work on new version. themes choice is very limited for new engine. El Patron
if a theme or module does not specifically state it's 1.5 compliant...then it's not I went theme shopping, it seemed to be some very nice themes, mostly for 1.5...s look outside of templatemonster...try themeforest or the official addon's here on ps also post in the paid section show link to what you want...and see anyone has one for 1.5 or can suggest similar they may have or know of..
