Carrier not removed from front-office when out of range

Hi.

 

I have 2 carriers on my site.

The first one has 3 different weight ranges. The last one ends on 3kg.

The second one has 1 weight range that spans 0 - 10 000kg.

Both carriers is set to disable carrier if out of range.

When adding products for 4kg, the first carrier is not remove from list, instead, it changes to use the price from the 2nd carrier.

I want to remove it completely from the list.

Using one page checkout and modified copy of default theme on PS 1.5.3.1

I tried changing to the default theme, but that did not help, so it's not a theme error.

I also tried to change the out of range option. Then my first carrier used the highest of it's own price aka 3kg price. So prestashop sees it is set to deactivate, but it does not remove it.
