Move custom e-commerce to PrestaShop

Hello everyone,

I'm new to the forum and this is my first post. I hope someone can help me to solve my doubts.

I've a client, which has already an e-commerce custom made (no cms used), developed from the previous agency.

Now the client asked me to redo it, and after some investigation, I decided to use PrestaShop as platform.

 

The main little problem (ironic of course) is that I've to keep the history of everything. In order to do this, I need to understand the prestashop db schema, and the meaning of each column, and relations with others columns.

 

I found the db schema

but it's too confused.
