bykrmom
Hello all,I am attempting to put a "video spokesperson" on our Prestashop and could use some help.I'm sure all or most of you have seen the technique, with a person apparently walking in front of the web page (or out from behind text or images), is welcoming customers and pointing out various page or product features.I have completed filming, and converting, and learning how to make the video background transparent as well as play in an invisible flash player. What I cannot figure out, because the instructions I used to learn how to do this with were written to be used with plain old HTML pages, is HOW do I put the html code I have generated into the Prestashop code.I've tried adding it to the header... the footer... making a new module to play it, and lastly to try to get the home text editor to allow it. I am, sadly, stuck. I can make a HTML file that will do what I want it to do, but I can't add the code to the store and make it work.Any suggestions on placement of script information? gamejacker
iam a beginer with Prestashop and this is just an idea but can u not place the code inside a .tpl file? or as i have seen here there is an 'add stuff module on this forums that enables you to insert your own stuff as a module, it works ok too and it uses a html file as its feed so i guess you could install that 'add stuff module' then in the configuration field point it towards your html file and then set the module wherever you want it placed ie: center block a TIP though, the html file has to be inside the addstuff module folder iam sure it would work for you that way good luck
bykrmom
Thank you for this tip! I will try that. I will let you know if it works for me, and maybe I can help others with video issues later as I get more proficient at it.~Angie
