Stores Link

There is a Stores link in the Site Map and in the footer in the Block Reinsurance under the Heading Information in the default theme.

 

I need to remove any reference to the stores and can't figure out how to remove it.

 

It is also in the Site Map under Pages, last item.

 

Can advise how to remove these two links?

Now more problems. I removed the Stores, Top Sellers, Specials modules.

In the footer and the Site Map these links are still there even though the modules are removed.

When you click on these links it goes to error messages that can'f find the page.

I think it has something to do with my changing to friendly-url. So I changed the setting to off.

I re-installed the modules and now these modules all appear again. I really don't need them but it is better they go to pages with non friendly urls than going to error messages.

 

It would be nice to be able to remove the Stores, Top Sellers and Specials (Price Drop) links in the footer and in the Site Map but there is no simple way to do this unless someone can advise please.

I changed back to Friendly-url setting to see what would happen.

Now the Top Sellers, New Products, Specials (price drop), and Our Stores links in the footer and site map links have error messages. In Safari it is a long error message. In Firefox it says 'this page isn't redirecting properly' and in Chrome it says:

So one of the problems is related to the friendly url which I can fix by switching friendly url to off.

However, removing Specials, Top Sellers, New Products, and Our Stores links from the footer and Site Map is the other problem. How do you remove these links?
