KamranMK Posted January 4, 2013 Share Posted January 4, 2013 Hi All, Occasionally I get this issue with the database I guess and the site just stops working, could you please help me understand this Fatal error: Uncaught Link to database cannot be established: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (11) thrown in /home8/shoperaa/public_html/classes/db/DbPDO.php on line 109 After 5 minutes or so the website started to work again but I noticed this happens already second time and the first time I was not able to track or understand the issue and this time the same Really look forward for a discovery Since my website is live and it is giving this errors second time already Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Regards Alexander, I am using bluehost, do you think I should change to some other, since this was the one that the prestashop recommends, Can it be the mysql issue within the backend of the site?
