Challenging...Motorcycle Accessories

Hi All,

I face a challenge which I need some guidance on (Also happy to pay a developer to assist with this).

Prestashop is without doubt one of the best and most powerful eCommerce tools on the market. I am completely new to this but I have manged to create (IMO) a very impressive website for my customers. www.touratech.co.nz . As part of my development I am trying to create a section within my site that allows people to pick the parts they need based on the make and model of their motorcycle.

The primary site Touratech.de has this facility and my customers are asking for it also.

I have setup my 5,500 products on the site and I also have the data from the manufacturer which categorizes the parts by make and model but I am unsure how to import this. (trust me it is not as simple as CSV import as there are many attributes)

I would really appreciate some help here and although I can't post the files on here I was wondering if people had any guidance or advice on how to setup a part with variable category references and attributes?

Thanks and I hope that makes sense!! :-)

Hi TTNZ,

I could see that you were successful in providing Make-Model filter selection. Even i am building a website for sbk accessories. Appreciate if you could let me know how did you achieve this functionality. Thanks
