Fatal error (Address -> vat_number is empty)

Hello,

 

I have an error when in 'Set required fields for this section' from Customers--> Address is set the checkbox for vat_number:

when I want to update an adress: to add a vat_number, after press Save button, I receive the error: Fatal error (Address -> vat_number is empty), but on page the vat_number was not empty, because we intend to add it (previous was empty).

 

Has anyone a clue about this problem?

The prestahop version is 1.4.4.1.
