Juandbbam Posted May 31, 2009 Share Posted May 31, 2009 Hello,I have set up different zones in BO, some countries belonging to those zones, I have created 2 carriers (one for national and another one for international orders), I have chosen the national one as default one, price ranges from 0 to 10.000€ as the shipping cost should be flat (8€ for national and 25€ for international) and in the main shipping window I have set up the rate for each carrier (the 8€ and the 25€ for each two carriers)The problem comes now: the 8€ for the national orders works ok, but the international one doesn't work. It shows shipping costs 8€ instead 25€. It seems that doesn't choose the international carrier even if the country chosen is inside a different zone.And something even more strange: If I checkout the cart shows the 8€. If I advance where the shipping address is shown and then I go back, the shipping cost is now 0€ !!Any ideas about what should I do?Thank you in advance Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Juandbbam Posted June 1, 2009 Author Share Posted June 1, 2009 Hello,I have more information about the problem that may help.If somebody from outside my country is buying, in the right block cart it says 8€ transport costs when it should say 25€. When the client goes to cart details it keeps saying 8€. If I go back or countinue shopping the transport costs are now 0€ everywhere.BUT if I go ahead in the checkout and I reach the Shipping phase it correctly says that the shop is using the International shipper and that the cost is 25€. From now if the client goes back it says 25€ everywhere.I don't know if I have explained it clear enough...This is a weird problem that looks like a bug. This one named CTT, delivers only to Portugal and is the default carrier.At the time, if you didn't login, when you were shopping the costs that your cart showed was the portuguese ones. (that was ok)Then I create another carrier named CTT International only for other countries.Since then when you add products to your cart (without login) the shipping cost is the internacional one by default.It coud scare a lot of portuguese costumers because the internacional cost is bigger and it's the value shown by default (because when the costumer log in if choose Portugal for delivery, the cost is automaticaly updated).I want my cart to show by default de nacional shipping prices. If the costumer choose another country for delvery then the cost is updated.It is possible?-------Question solved: I had ticked the VAT option for carriers so the value shown was the right one (national) but with extra VAT.I assumed these was the international costs.
