Shipping costs headache - based on quantity

Hi, I'm setting up my first shop, using 1.5.1. And the shipping module is giving me a headache.

 

I am selling children's craft kits and as it's a small business I'll be personally posting via Royal Mail (to the UK only initially) and have calculated the first class delivery costs.

 

Example:

 

1 kit - £2 postage and packing

2-4 kits - £3.15 postage and packing etc.

 

I'm a little stuck on configuring this. Although on tutorials I've seen a box that allows quantities to be specified with a shipping cost next to this, this hasn't appeared for me.

 

I think what I'm attempting is quite basic, but I'm stuck! Thanks!

Headache solved - good learning curve.

 

Started using the price ranges feature and realised the first range had to end a penny over the actual first price (if that makes sense). All seemed to slot into place after that. Also, had been worried about 'free shipping' coming up in the initial cart, when the shipping wasn't free, but that's now disappeared as well.
