spirits999 Posted October 29, 2012 Share Posted October 29, 2012 Hello All, Our website is experiencing a super slow load time for the first time (almost 12-15 secs) and 5-7 secs repeat load time. The URL is www.rationhut.com Could someone help diagnose the problem? We are about to launch and the only reason we are stranded is the load time. We cannot go live as this is the most important part of any website. There has been almost 6 months of hard work in all of this. Another important thing is that the Back office runs perfectly fine. I can reduce their quality and size both. Also, Do you think it has something to do with cache? When I switch off cache and switch on force compile and then switch it on again. Wandrille Posted October 30, 2012 Share Posted October 30, 2012 I don't have this problem on 1.4.6.2. Try by replacing your themes by a default one. I'm hosted on a Windows server and I never knew that windows server does not recognize the htaccess file. I moved my server from Windows to Linux and now it is Superrrrrrrrrrr Fast and perfect!
