How to offer downloadable PDF document to a customer

Hi there,

 

How can I offer "documentation" to a customer. I would like to give him a possibility to read and downlaod pdf documents.

 

Alternative is html documents.

back office-->catalog-->attachments

 

add you .pdf or other file

 

back office-->catalog-->edit a product-->attachments

 

attach the file...save the product

 

you should then see a new tab, (up to theme) attachments

I receive 4 errors. Is there possibility to increase file upload limit? I do nto understand third error.

 

4 errors

• File too large, maximum size allowed: 2048 kb. File size you're trying to upload is:11483.91kb
  
• the field file is required
  
• the field mime is required
  
• the field name (Croatian) is too long (32 chars max, html chars including)

I would search (using google) for this issue...you should then get it sorted out in short time....

Do you maybe aware if there is a possiblity to put pdf icon on a homepage and when customer click, it downloads the document?

once you have the attachment in PS....you can copy the link and present it in your site however you please.
