[Solved] Mobile Theme 1.4 Does Not Install

Has anyone gotten the Prestashop Mobile Template 1.4 to install? I tried using the theme installer on 1.4.9.0 and get the error message "bad configuration file". I also uploaded and manually unzipped in the Theme directory but it is not visible in the modules, themes tab.

 

Edit: The solution is to install it as a Module, not as a theme. It would be nice if that info was provided on the PS Add-ons site!

 

My opinion - this module is not ready for use - see comments below.

I just uploaded it to the modules directory and installed it in the usual way - not as a theme. However I gave up on it as it did weird things - checkout button on main site redirected to the mobile version, and also the latest PayPal module (apparently required for the theme to work) was totally unusable.

Ok - thanks - just installed it as a module on my test shop and now it can be configured. I see the same bugs you did. Also for items that have text box customizations, they are not displayed in the mobile theme.

 

I guess I should mark this as solved, for the original issue, but want to make sure that anyone who tries this should be aware the mobile theme is not ready for prime time!

i can istall the module very well but if i open my website in my laptop with ie the top menu is terrible, but with firefox and chrome its work very well
