ilan316
Hello, Is there a way to configure front office to show visitors a Specific currency (other then dollar) but without changing the default currency that is Dollar for example - i want visitors to see the price in front office only in EURO. but in back office to leave the Default currency in dollars if ill change the Default to EURO , then ill have to fix the prices for all the products. El Patron
no and yes...no for native prestashop doing this..but yes with a hack.., where the viistor cookie is set to the euro...probably best to do this in classes/FrontController.php if only prestashop had separated the shop default currency from the base product currency...life would be grand...
ilan316
so in my case its not possible to change default currency to DOLLAR but making sure the clients will see the price only in EURO or any other currency
El Patron
the easiest way to do this is use my geo pricing module. This sets you inbound visitors country (logged and/or non-logged)...you can then set you default currency using your native ps: shipping->countries->edit country and set default currency. So you can set US visitors to Dollar, EU Region to Euro...etc... more importantly you can then define your native ps by country product catalog prices/discounts/shipping/taxes etc, for non-logged visitors...and which is the main purpose of the module... we hope you like our work http://www.etiendas.co/en/34-geo-pricing-pro-price-by-country.html
