slechevalier
Hello, I am new to prestashop. I used to have a virtuemart shop. After a migration, i was so disappointed because a lot of bugs appeared. One was with terms of use not working out. I have the same problem with Prestashop 1.5! I filled the pages in CMS. When I click on a link in CMS block in footer for example, the page goes blank and nothing appears. Can you help? Thanks Sarah The url is http://shop.chamanistic.com/
MEG Venture
It looks like that the theme you use is not appropriately designed. There are some picture files missing. That is not the reason of blank page, but can be a good starting point. Then if you can enable the error messages by editing config.inc.php under config folder, we can go further. The error messages I receive so far are presented below: "NetworkError: 404 Not Found - http://shop.chamanistic.com/modules/blockstore/store.jpg" store.jpg "NetworkError: 404 Not Found - http://shop.chamanistic.com/themes/freedesign/css/img/block_languages_top_p_bg.png" block_..._bg.png "NetworkError: 404 Not Found - http://shop.chamanistic.com/themes/freedesign/css/modules/blocksearch/img/bg_search_input.png" bg_sea...put.png "NetworkError: 404 Not Found - http://shop.chamanistic.com/themes/freedesign/css/modules/blocksearch/img/bg_search_submit.png" bg_sea...mit.png "NetworkError: 404 Not Found - http://shop.chamanistic.com/modules/blockstore/store.jpg" store.jpg "NetworkError: 404 Not Found - http://shop.chamanistic.com/themes/freedesign/css/modules/blockcms/img/arrow_right_2.png" arrow_right_2.png
slechevalier
Hi, Thanks for watching. I modified the file for error messages as you said. I placed the missing images. It is true that the problem was not there when I first installed prestashop. I installed a theme which is said to be for prestashop 1.5, called freedesign. In fact, this is the only free theme for 1.5 I found. I chose it because it has just two columns. This is probably temporary, cause i want to try Prestashop before buying a theme. MEG Venture
Hi I will be able to examine the errors tonight as I am out of office now. However, if you want to test Prestashop, I suggest you to try the default theme. Regards Caglar
slechevalier
Hello Ok, I tried with the default theme, but the problem still remains. Thanks, Sarah
MEG Venture
OK, I saw the error. This should be because your CMS module is not compatible with Prestashop 1.5 You can find the default one by downloading the Prestashop 1.5.0.
slechevalier
I started with a brand new installation of prestashop 1.5.0.17. The files in modules/blockcms are the initial ones. I checked and did a transfer anyway with 1.5.0.17 files. How else should I reinstall this module ? Is there something else to do than checking modules/blockcms? Thanks, Sarah
Xardurius
I've the same problem, does really nobody know a solution for this? Because if I reinstall the CMS-module it still doesn't work.
