Anteman
Greetings! Iv just started to explore the vaste possibilities around prestashop and are impressed, i do have a small menu problem which i don't seem to be able to resolve or find any solutions for. I use the new free theme from prestashop and i want to separate my "top horizontal menu" from getting a dropdown menu from the categories, i don't want the categories i make for my products to get there. I want the categories module box (or what its called) to be where it is, thats ok And i want a completely separate menu where i can add links etc So, is my request possible?. I attached a jpg file for you to see aswell Thank you in advance

Paulito
Good Morning, You have to have your categories/cms first then all you have to do is move from 1 drop down to the other and click save.and, of course, refresh the page. The size of the Top Navigation bar will probably only allow you to have 6 or 7 items, the "Home" one is mainly used for your categories. When making Categories you have the option of whether they are Root or not. I hope this is a little clearer. And NO, your not a pain in the ASS Paul
Anteman
Hello again. I made a reset on the top horizontal menu and got the old menus back and it also removed so the "home" menu lost the dropdown menu But now im wondering how do i change name and url on those menus, tried in the top horizontal menu but no luck there ? :S
Paulito
Good Morning, OK, go to the Top Horizontal Menu again and click configure, you will see the 2 blocks where you can Add/Remove links. Just under these blocks you will see Add Top Menu Link, here you will see 2 fields to fill in. Label, this is the name you will give, for example "HOME" Link, this is the page name that you want the Label to go to when clicked, for example http://www.prestashop.com/forums When you have created your labels and links you then just transfer from one box to the other. Hope this helps Paul
