Top Horizontal Menu - Margin

hello everybody,

 

I would like to remove the Top Horizontal Menu from my site but when I remove it all the blocks goes up to the welcome log in.

 

I would like to add some margin but cant figure out what to modify (the 001a.gif show the way it looks without the top menu)

 

Any help is welcome

Edit : I found a way to do it

I edited global.css and in the header section

i changed #header {position:relative} by #header {position:relative; margin-bottom:20px;}
