Standard Theme Problems with Internet Explorer 8 & 9 - Prestashop 1.4.9.0

Hi Everybody,

 

got problems with the Internet Explorer 8 & 9 and hope for somebody who could kindly take a look and maybe help me solve it.

 

Somehow the IE is not able to display the shop with the standard theme right. Chrome and Firefox dont have problems at all and since so many people still use the IE it would be important to fix it.

• The position of the header and the footer are out of place.
  
• The Modules MegaDropdownMenu, NewProducts and Offers aren't displayed well
  
• There is a Monitor picture above the categories on the left side and I dont know where its coming from.
  

I am using Prestashop 1.4.9.0. Url is: www.natureistic.org
