Combination Issues

I am a newbie, sorry if I have posted in the incorrect section. Please advise and I'll repost accordingly if necessary.

 

When I add a combination that requires the price to increase, the price that is added to the cart is correct; however he price displayed on the actual product detail page is incorrect.

 

I have a product that for example when Medium in size be increased by 6.00 inc tax, that's 5.00 exc tax.

 

The price shown is as follows .....

 

Small - 19.99 - all OK

Medium - 25.99 - shows as 24.73 on the product page, adds as 25.99 in the cart

Large - 31.99 - shows as 29.47 on the product page, adds as 31.99 in the cart

 

Interestingly the difference in price from samll to medium is out by 1.26 and then exactly double 2.52 when selecting large.

Hi,

 

You should mention your PrestaShop version and if you made modifications to the original code.

 

If you use customized themes or external modules, you should try to disable them and test again.

Prestashop is 1.4.8.2

 

I have disabled two additional modules, PrestaLove Add This and Store export for PrestaShop.

 

Using Leo Stylish Theme - I replaced with the default theme and the issue still shows.

 

No custom coding taken place.

I have now installed a fresh WAMP stack on a new laptop, then installed Prrestashop 1.4.8.2, then installed the Leo Stylish theme. I created the tax rules required and a combination product similar to that on the live site; the product prices displayed correctly!

 

So - I imported the live db to my local MySql and guess what - the price combinations are wrong again.

 

I now believe it to be a configuration issue somehwere in the DB then, something somewhere in the catalog has been populated with an overriding adjustment for product price on the product page? Remember he price added to the cart is correct ....

 

Any pointers on how to fix this greatly appreciated, another approach etc.

[sOLVED] - I trawled the admin tabs and found a spurious currency converter of 0.79 in there. Set it to 1 and all is rectified. Not really sure why - but I'll pat myself on the back for now.
