Module doesn't show up, information details doesn't appear,our stores info can't be updated

Hello, I've recently purchased prestashop v1.4.9 version of prestashop. After some problems I managed to put pictures to my products and details but as I was trying to modify the site I encountered a few more. First of all, I tried to upgrade to version 1.5, and after I installed the upgrade(automatically, 1 click), when I click on modules tab nothing shows up as before. I cannot see the option where I could import a theme or anything,it's just white. Only the theme,positions and my account options show up. And the upgrade hasn't been made because the site looks the same. Also, when I try to modify the info details as terms of condition,shipping etc the new modifications don't appear. If I delete the categories and make new ones they don's show up either. If I try to change the photo of the shop, I cannot use the Store Block option,cause it doesn't show me an Upload/Change Image case. Also after I changed Our Stores addresses..the modification doesn't show up. Nothing works as I can see on this thing. Does anybody know a reason for this,or how can I change it up and make it all work? I would really appreciate some help!!!
