nzecheru
Hello, I am new to PrestaShop and don't know much about modifying or customizing it, I have just start learning it. I have a problem with my shop: I cannot upload any images to my products (v1.4.9.0 - latest version released). I can browse for the files (png or jpg) and after I click on the Save button the page refreshes and displayes Update Successfully, but no image is uploaded. After several tries to upload an image now I get this error message: Forbidden You don't have permission to access /SFadmin/index.php on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Can someone please help me with this problem? What do I have to check to make sure I have the correct settings, or how can I have permission to access the index.php file? (I have changed the file permissions to 744 - read write execute - for the owner) It seems impossible for me to upload images to products.. Thank you, Nicu. rseigel
Folders should be 755 and files should be 644.
nzecheru
Thank you rseigel. The 404 error was fixed, I changed back the file permission to 644. However I still have the problem uploading the image to a product, nothing happens. What could be the problem?

nzecheru
Hi Sharky, Thank you for the tip, I will try and let you know the results!
nzecheru
I tested with an image (25 x 16), just to be sure, but the problem is the same, it just says Update Successfully but the image is not uploaded. It is the same problem with the logos, nothing happens if I upload an image (I copied the logos manually on the ftp). In the PrestaShop Image section it says: WARNING: This feature may not be compatible with your theme or with some modules. In particular, PNG mode is not compatible with the Watermark module. If you encounter any issue, turn it off by selecting "Use JPEG". I use this extension but the problem is not fixed. Thank you,

nzecheru
I am using Matrice theme (http://dgcraft.free.fr/blog/index.php/themes-prestashop/matrice-themes-prestashop-1-3-1-gratuits/), but the problem happens for the default PrestaShop theme as well. Maybe there is a problem with the configuration file? I have no clue where to look or how to troubleshoot this.
nzecheru
Did anyone have the same problem? Should I try from scratch with the installation? I wouldn't so this, it took me some time to configure it and it would be difficult to start all over again. Any idea how I can troubleshoot this is much appreciated. Thanks.
