petera Posted April 18, 2008 Share Posted April 18, 2008 Not really stupid as there are a lot of files in the package and for people like myself with only minimal experience it takes a while to work through them. There is probably a function or process within 'smarty' that creates the template file (.tpl) but that is currently beyond me and I am making changes to the existing .tpl files. The about-us file is in the folder themes>default and is named about-us.tpl. It would be worthwhile making a copy of the default theme and rename it to something like my_theme and make changes in this so you can always revert back to the untouched default theme. You would then need to apply my_theme in the backend. Look through the other .tpl files and you will see the structure of the .tpl files and make changes to the about-us.tpl file to what you want. Also there are some good tutorials on the internet around 'smarty' and some of these also give good information around the .tpl files and what you can achieve in them As I say there is the 'smarty' templates generating option but the above should get you going in the meantime.
