Status: Fatal error (Address -> address1 is empty)

Can someone please provide when we can expect an updated paypal module to fix the error (Fatal error (Address -> address1 is empty))?

 

My customers are unable to check out at this point..

If someone knows, please help us... I have installed the most recent version, 3.1.0, and it still has the problem.

After I installed 3.1.0 the problem went away for me. Not sure if this will help, but make sure your have cleared your browser cache, and you may go in to admin > preferences > performance > Turn Cache to No and Force Compile to Yes, reload your pages and see if problem is resolved. If it is be sure to flip these performance preferences back.

Hi nitro, i did what you said and didn't work... it has the same problem. Tried in another computer with everything new and it still has the same issue... I sent email to prestashop asking for help... maybe i will try to install another presta shop version... what version do you have?

I had the same error, but the fix is very easy.

Go to your Back Office and to your Shipping tab and then click on Countries and then go to each country(or the countries you take orders from) and check the following in the adress layout. It will probably look something like this:

firstname lastname
company
address1 address2
city, State:name postcode
Country:name
phone

 

You just have to put address2 on a new line. So it will look like:

firstname lastname
company
address1
address2
city, State:name postcode
Country:name
phone

 

This fixed it for me.
