Error 500 When adding "weight" field to CSV file upon import.

Hi there,

 

I'm having a problem when importing CSV files which have the 'weight' column on them.

 

Every other CSV file is uploading fine and importing into the system correctly. However, when I add the "Weight" column to the CSV file and then click on Import CSV data (with all the correct columns associated and loaded), I wait a while and then get the dreaded "500 Internal Server Error".

 

Has anyone experienced similar things like this?

 

I know there are a multitude of existing Error 500 forum posts which describe there being a problem if you add about 100/1000 products but in my case I am only adding about 50-60 products at a time.

 

Your help would be greatly appreciated as we need weights in our product database to make the shipping calculations work.
