lynnetted Posted July 24, 2012 Share Posted July 24, 2012 (edited) I have installed 1.5RC1, but every time I try and enable SSL, I get redirect errors. So I have been going through EVERYTHING in the back office to try and see if anything seems set incorrectly. The biggest thing I notice is on the Home Page in the BO the Configuration Check List looks like this: URL rewriting Browser cache & compression Smarty optimization Combine, Compress & Cache Shop enabled Index rebuilt after update .htaccess file up-to-date Under Advanced Parameters > Performance, Caching settings are: "Use cache" is selected and the "Caching System" is set to "File System". Is this wrong? Would this cause the "Browser cache and compression" to be red in the Configuration Checklist? and if "Browser cache and compression" is red - could it be the cause of the redirect errors when I turn on SSL in the BO?
