CSV Import Problems

Hello,

 

I'm trying to import my products with the csv import tool but I get an error for time date

this is what PS shows:

1. Demo product Cannot be saved
   
2. Incorrect datetime value: '' for column 'date_upd' at row 1
   
3. Demo2 product Cannot be saved
   
4. Incorrect datetime value: '' for column 'date_upd' at row 1
   
5. Demo3 product Cannot be saved
   
6. Incorrect datetime value: '' for column 'date_upd' at row 1
   

 

There is no date column in my CSV, the Lang and Time zone is set in PS config so I don't understand why is this.

 

Oh and is there any way to import categories with sub categories?

Because when I import products with my CSV where the categories are set like this: LEVEL1\LEVEL2\LEVEL3 than the import tool imports all as LEVEL1.

 

I'm Using PS 1.4.8.2 On Localhost Win7(32bit)/MySQL 5.5.13/Apache 2.2.19/PHP 5.3.6

Struggling also with import csv for my categories. It is allways giving "cannot be saved" without any explanation.

Probably your fields are not mapped in the right way. Also pay attention to delimiters, especially if your file contains subcategories. It is better to use different symbols for your categories and subcategories.

Have you tried to perform import using different extensions? I've tried 3 or 4 extensions. And after 2 errors, I have found one service which is called File2Cart and decided to try it.

The best thing is that your fields can be mapped automatically. Automated mapping helps to avoid typical errors. There is a video tutorial.

You can try it. I hope my post will be useful for somebody.

can anyone help am having a problem with importing combinations via csv.

 

before the format was simple as below

 

Color:red,Size:S

Color:Black,Size:S

Color:Green,Size:S

Color:red,Size:M

Color:red,Size:L

 

But since V1.5 this is not the case any more and i ahve tried many combinations to get color and size uploaded to n avail

So any kind of help will be appreciated.
