Expand categories by default

My search function seems a little broken right now as I can only view the first page of results...any other page shows up blank.

 

So my question is: Can you set certain categories to be expanded by default? Not just every category but on a case by case basis? I am using 1.4.6.2.

Under>Preferences>Search there are weights.

The weigths are about relevancy.

 

A word with a weight of 8 will have 4 times more value than a word with a weight of 2.

 

So you can set them accordingly. For example set to 0 for the ones that you don't want to be searched.

I apologize, I suppose I should have been more clear. Prestashop's forum search is broken. My question is: Can you set certain categories to be expanded by default in the categories block on the front page? Not just every category but on a case by case basis? I am using 1.4.6.2.
