Adding product to sub categories from the ADD A PRODUCT PAGE

My client is using prestashop PrestaShop™ 1.4.7.3

 

He noticed that he can not a product on other categories because it only shows home.

 

We click on expand all but nothing comes up.

Could you please clarify. Do you have other categories there and now they are missing? To add a product to a category the category should exist first,

There are other categories and subcategories too.

 

both dont show in any product page.

What happen when he/she try with a new one?

(Also) If she/he check other items... they appear in a category and the issue is with this item only?

The problem occur only when he/she is trying to add a new product and the products already exist they don't have any issue at all?

 

It looks like you are going to upload categories and products again...

No.

 

(He) adds a new item via add a product

 

client then fills full form and above short description, there is only the category HOME and no other categories below the default HOME category.

 

I just have updated it to the latest version.
