rturner
I wanted my subcategory images to show as 200 x 90 px instead of the 80 x 80 that I had my medium images set as. By default, subcategory images use the medium size. So I created a new image called 'category' and set it as the 200 x 90px. I then went into category.tpl and under the Subcategories area changed all image instances that said 'medium' to 'category'. I also edited category.css to show the new size. Everything looked fine in Firefox and Chrome. Then I went into IE9 and I couldn't pull up any images at all when I clicked on a category. I checked into some bug reports and saw that in ps 1.4+ people ran into the same problem, but I couldn't find any solutions. Apparently IE 9 wants the subcategory images to use the medium image size. Unable to find a solution, I switched my Medium image size to 200 x 90px and reversed all the changes in category.tpl. It now shows up fine in IE 9. The only problem is any other image that uses the medium size will get distorted. So far, the only ones I've found distorting were in the New Products module, which I temporarily disabled until I can tinker. Anyone else have a better fix for this? I'm using 1.4.7.3 and here's a link: http://www.ecg.com/new/en/36-aquatic
