naal1
hi, I just saw prestashop online demo on that link http://demo-store.prestashop.com/en/6-electronics i found there is search filter based on price and attributes. I am using 1.4.0.7 so can i make price filter as per the demo or this facility available only on new version.

Paulito
Good Morning, I am very new to Prestashop and I hope the information I give you is correct. As I understand it you want to have a PRICE SLIDER and an ATTRIBUTE check box as a layered navigation, so if you goto: BO > Catalog > Attributes and groups > Click on "Add Attributes group" > Type in the two boxes the name of the group, for example " SIZE" then click save Then go back to the Attributes and groups Tab and click on "Add Attribute" then in the Name box type the attribute you want, for example 10" x 12" then from the dropdown box select the Group, for example "size" and click save The price slider is automatically configured in PS 1.4.7 Hope this helps in someway Paul
Totti
If I set the attributes do not see anything appear.

rathna
did you figure it out? I was cracking my head and found out how! you have to customize the layered navigation block module on top of the things mentioned here. go to modules -> filter layered navigation in the front office. after that its pretty much self explanatory. let me know if you have issues. I am also a beginner by the way.
queeckee
you need to transplant layered filter module both to column and header of page (to add important javascript to page). just figured out why it was not running on my site Edited October 13, 2012 by queeckee (see edit history)
