Disc. Vouchers Not Workg for New Customers, However Workin w/ Existing Customer when Assigned

We are using Version 1.4.1.0

 

 

 

I am quite stressed as i have stumbled upon a serious issue with my template running on 1.4.1.0.

 

We have Used Option Under Payment --> Vouchers to generate Coupon Codes for new Customers for a Promotional Campaign and those coupons are not working with Any new Customers. However, if we assign the same coupon to a current customer, it works fine.

 

So basically, whichever discount we create, whether it is a discount percentage or a discount amount, either way, they are working fine when assigned to individual customers.

 

However, when we try sending out individual discount codes as a marketing campaign, the new discount voucher code is not recognized. When code entered during checkout, the page refreshes and does nothing, no application of discount voucher.

 

In order for our campaign to be successful, we need these coupons to work for New Customers

 

Unable to Upgrade as the our template does not have any upgrades available beyond 1.4.4.x

 

 

 

Any Suggestions? Has anyone faced a similar issue earlier?
