the prestashop vision is 1.4.7.0. this is the copy info from Medical TM33967:

Installation:

- Having the package downloaded, extract the contents of the theme folder to your

Prestashop installation root directory.

- Patch your prestashop database with the provided source/dump.sql (only if you want

sample contents) Warning! Patching the database with our sql dump will remove your

data, so please back it up before patching.

- Log into Prestashop administration panel, go to Preferences → Appearance and select

your theme in the Themes tab.

which I cannnot understand is "extract the contents of the theme folder to your

Prestashop installation root directory", how to do that? below the attachment is the picture of my host server files, please take a look, where I should install the themes files. thanks. I will be really appreciate you!

Did you try to use the automatic theme installer? It's a module that comes prepackaged with PrestaShop. It's uninstalled by default, so you have to install it first. After you log in to your back office, click on the Modules tab, then on the page that opens click on the Administration section, find the module Import/export a theme and click on its install button. After the module is installed you'll see a Configure button just under its name. Click on it and on the following page you can upload the theme's zipped archive. Then just follow the steps of the installer. The theme might come with some additional modules, so you'll be asked whether you want to install them, whether you want to use the new theme's module configuration, etc.

Otherwise, you can also do it by manually uploading the files, as is mentioned in your post. The PrestaShop root directory is the folder on your hosting account that contains all the files and folders of the PrestaShop application. For example, all the web-visible content is in a folder on your account usually called public_html. So you have to look for the root PrestaShop folder in that directory. If you installed PrestaShop in a folder called prestashop directly in the public_html directory, you have to upload the files for the new theme in public_html/prestashop/themes (in the root PrestaShop directory there's a themes folder where you should upload all your themes). You can upload the files with an FTP client (e.g. FileZilla). Before that you have to unzip the theme archive on your local computer. If there are modules that come with it, it probably contains two folders: modules and themes. Upload the directory that's inside the unzipped themes folder to the themes folder in the root PrestaShop directory on your account. In case there are modules, you'll also have to upload those to the modules folder in the root PrestaShop directory and later install them from the Modules tab of your back office.

I don't think I can get into more details than that :). I suggest you try the automatic installer first.

Hope this helps.

Gator is a good company. It should not effect what hosting you have. Are you making sure that you are installing the actual theme folder to root on server? I remember I once purchased a theme and it would not show up. the actual theme was inside Theme>Theme name>ACTUAL THEME FOLDER. I was just uploading the whole folder and not the actual theme folder. Make sure this is not the case with you. You can tell it is the actual theme folder as when you open it there will be lots of files in there. If you still need help I can try and teamviewer install it for you.
