simpson7647
Hi all, im after a little help. Currently I have a product which is lettering along with attributes being colour and font. The orgiional cost each is 1.99 but I'm now looking to add quantities of 5, 10 and 20 in which discounts are given. How would I add this please? I tried adding as an attribute but it actually created another quantity which is no good. What can I do please? Thanks,

Carl Favre
Hi simpson7647, When you add a product, in the price tab you can specify discount based on quantity. Is it not what you are looking for?
simpson7647
Thank you for the reply. I'll have a look now. I simply want it to be origional price for 1, x price for 5, x price for 10 and x price for 20. Can that be done? Thanks,

El Patron
try adding a new price with discount for each quantity. I do it exactly like Carl suggested above, but I only allow a quantity of 4. It would seem (without testing it) that I could also allow a second price when the quantity if a max of 8.
simpson7647
I was hoping I could have a drop down for the quantities and have quantities of 1, 5, 10 and 20. So no other quantites can be chosen etc. Can this be done? Thanks,
El Patron
did you test having multiple prices by quantity?
simpson7647
thanks for the reply. Sorry but what do you mean? Thanks,
El Patron
using the method suggested by Carl, add at least two 'prices by quantity' to your product, see if that is going to work for you, forget the appearance. The important thing is that ps root does primarily what you want. Then you can seek out how to use that working ps function in a different front office presentation.
