the hat lady
I have been working hard making some customised changes to my them. As I am new to the code and global css process this has been slow. I started working on a local host and it was going well so loaded it up but not was clear. This morning I went back to the local host and was delighted when I finally achieved a pattterned background and some size tweaks so I copies the header, footer and global over.... to the loaded website but my global changes are not showing and there is no patterned background . Also I can not get rid on the homepage logo ipod picture...I have one image loaded but it also will not show. When I delet an image it is still there. I have done the force smarty theme ticking yes and no to cache to no avail. I have cleared the goggle cache history Just just don't no what to do now. The global CSS certainly has my changes. The images are in the back office. This is so frustrating ...just when I thought I was making headway. Once again it is 1.20am and I feel I am in the same place I was at at 3am yesterday. Thanks you in advance for your help.
Carl Favre
Hi the hat lady, Which version of PrestaShop do you use? You can manually check the smarty\compile and smarty\cache to be sure that there are no files left and refresh your page. To get rid of the ipod picture, it is in the home page editor module that you can remove it if I am correct.
the hat lady
I am using 1.4.6.2 I think you are right the css changes are now showing, I was not sure where to go to see and if files were there but that side seems resolved the smarty manually manually use smarty compile and view files? I think the homepage picture was a file back up issue too which I am still unsure why it will not change when I choose a new file. Can you please advise where i go to reduce the size or remove the text. on category page "There are # products is this category". Thank you
Carl Favre
Could you give me your website url? This way, it would be easier to tell you what to change on your theme.
