SpiderKenny
I have installed PrestaShop to my website which is hosted at EasySpace. I am running version 1.4.4.1 The problem is that when browsing to the shop using Safari on both Windows and/or Mac, you cannot login either as a normal user or as admin. The same site (with no changes) works perfectly when being accessed with Internet Explorer When you login, you do not get any errors or bad pages, it just looks as though you have not signed it. In other words it just takes you straight back to the login form. I need the site be be available from Safari as many of my customers will be using that. Is this something that anyone has seen before? Any solutions? -Kenny
SpiderKenny
Any one else seeing this issue? I really need to get it resolved today or I'll have to try something else. Which would be a real shame considering the amount of effort I've put into setting up my shop already.
El Patron
I have this problem with firefox every day. When I clear my browswer cache and cookies it works fine. Give this a try and see if that resovles your problem.
SpiderKenny
I cannot login to my store from any client running Safari on mac or windows. I I cannot login to the admin pages from any client running safari. It all works fine when using internet exolorer. I have emailed tech support several times over the last week or more, but not had a single reply. I have posted a couple of messages in this forum, but they have either been deleted or simply vanished off the bottom. Has anyone else, ever had any issues using their store from Safari on Mac/Windows? If so, how did you resolve the issue? Is prestashop simply not compatible with Safari? Lem
Just tried with Win2008/Safari and it works fine for my shops with or without SSL. Have you tried clearing your browser cache?
Carl Favre
Hi SpiderKenny, I have had no problem login in with Safari either. Do you have a url we can check? About your messages, no need to post twice the same topic, merged both of them. Elpatron told you to try deleting your cache/cookies. Did you try? El Patron
Hi SpiderKenny, I have had no problem login in with Safari either. Do you have a url we can check? About your messages, no need to post twice the same topic, merged both of them. Elpatron told you to try deleting your cache/cookies. Did you try? Hi Carl, I 'think' I resovled my issue. When our auto-build of ps ran, it did not regenerate the keys in settings.inc.php. I have modified the build code to regnerate all keys. Now with fingers crossed this will fix 1) login issues 2) product not adding to cart issues. Which before I resolved by clearing browser cache/cookies.
