AxorB
Suddenly I can no longer edit PrestaShop (1.4.4.1). I can no longer edit CMS articles, categories, products, settings... Nothing! Please, can you help me understand why? Thanks.
Carl Favre
Hello AxorB, Have you changed anything in the employee tab? Are you still administrator?
AxorB
Hello AxorB, Have you changed anything in the employee tab? Are you still administrator? Thank you Carl. I have not changed anything and yes I'm the administrator. But Now I solved. Looking in the database while changing the status of a user I have noticed that the changes occurred in the db but not on the page, so I disabled the cache (Preferences > Performance > Caching) and everything started working again. Strangely, when I re-enabled the cache (File System depth 1) I received the error that the folder must be writable. But it already had to be as everything was working until recently. Carl Favre
Thanks for posting the solution. Have you checked the folder write properties with your FTP client?
AxorB
Yes. Without that, PrestaShop did not allow me to reactivate the cache.
john74
Same problem here. I noticed that I can upload (to manufacturers for instance), but everything else is freezed ! I can't even change the cache / performances options. It tells me: " Mise à jour réussie" But nothing is changed. I'm on a dedicated server and not mutualized host. If I perform an SQL query by my self (in phpmyadmin or using a module performing sql queries), it works. Does anybody might have an idea where the lock is ? john74
I solved it by deleting manually following files: /cache/cachefs/keysCached /cache/cachefs/tablesCached
