dreluke
Hi, I am new to Prestashop, actually in research mode right now. I have a wordpress based online store where each item is in its own page I been running for over a year. I want to switch to PrestaShop and wondering if theres a way to redirect item description URL's and other pages that I already have on my old site to the item description pages and other site pages of the PrestaShop? For example I have sent out links to a specific item on my site to various customers, now if I switch and they check that link I want it to point to the same item in the new shop setup. Thanks. Lem
Just re-read your original post and I believe 301 redirects would be your optimum solution. It's best to do this in your htaccess file. Obviously the amount of work required depends on the number of products, but if you have been established for some time, then this is also the best way to preserve your SEO.
