UPS v1.0 Module

I am using the UPS module v1.0. I would love to upgrade, however can not seem to find anyting. (side note: Prestashop is not a good option in comparison to some of the other free ecommerce sites).

 

Anyway, I found a bug that creates the famous "There are no carriers available that deliver to this address." message. I have found MANY links to this error, even some so-called bug fixes. But no....nothing that addresses my issue.

 

I have created a Canada Zone and a USA Zone (as I will be adding extra shipping charges onto my Canadian orders). When I edit a carrier (ie. Ground) and save it; the "ID"s for all the carriers increase (I am sure they should not), in turn disabling my shipping options to Canada. I think the pointers get missed up when the database ID's are shifted.

 

Any one see this TOO? Anyone have a newer version of the UPS module? Anyone know where I could get a copy for free?

Just to add to the above issue, when I add a extra fee to a carrier based on a zone (as long as I do not edit a carrier); THE FEE DOES NOT GET ADDED TO THE SHIPPING IN THE CHECKOUT!!!! ARGHHHHHHH
