[SOLVED] No addresses on checkout page when customer logged in.

Hi all - I'm having a problem with the checkout page. When logged in the customers addresses don't show up at all (see screenshot). This happens when in the normal or one page checkout mode.

 

In firebug the html looks like this:

 

<ul id="address_delivery" class="address item">

<li class="address_title">Your delivery address</li>

<li class="address_"></li>

 

I assume the address should start from the last line. I've tried overwriting shopping-cart.tpl with a backup copy but the problem remains.

 

I'm using a modified version of the default prestashop theme on version 1.4.5.1.

 

I'm happy to revert back to the original shopping cart and start again from scratch but I'm not sure exactly which files I need to restore. The store is currently disabled but I can enable and post the url if that would help.

 

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

After spending almost a day of my life and in danger of loosing all my hair in the process I realised that the table ps_address_format was missing from my database - no idea why but probably an error when last updating. Thank god for backups!!
