Yourextractorder module does NOT work...HELP!

Recommended Posts

We purchased the Yourextractorder module for our version 1.3 shop and it does not work for our https e-commerce site. This has been a very frustrating experience. We are simply trying to extract basic customer information into a .csv file to download into an email contact program. After paying our programmer to attempt to make it work he has said that it is very difficult and he has to pour through code to figure out why the program is not working. He says that the program uses a cron in order to work and that any support information is only in french and we speak only english. His final solution was to contact the developer since we paid for a plug and play module and apparently this module isn't doing plug and play. We contacted the developer to help us and he has told us to create a variable that helps his program to work! Well we've paid our programmer to try that and it hasn't worked. Our programmer correctly recommended that we give him access to our backend to fix his program and he says he won't do it for "insurance" reasons. This makes no sense since we've given him permission in writing.

Furthermore, Prestashop, where we purchased the module hasn't responded to any of our emails so we were finally required to create a dispute in our Paypal account where they STILL didn't respond until we escalated it to a Refund request where they only responded to Paypal privately!

This is bad customer service in our opinion from not only the developer and Prestashop. We tried to get this module to work for a month at greater expense to us! The one thing that you can count on from U.S. companies is customer service. We would never refuse to work on a program we developed as a programmer and we would never completely ignore our customers as Prestashop has. If anyone has any ideas while we wait for our Prestashop dispute to be resolved we would truly appreciate it. We would actually like to make this module work...Still!!!
