tmvision
Hi, guys. I'm experiencing some weird redirects on my Prestashop installation and really need some help. Here's a quick outline of site structure: http://iridesideways.com We have WordPress installed here, not connected with PS. http://iridesideways.com/shop/categories.php This is the PrestaShop address. PS is installed in the /shop directory and the homepage is categories.php instead of index.php. When somebody attempts to register or place an order, they are redirected to the site's root directory (http://iridesideways.com). I can't work out why this is happening? Any ideas? Thanks! Carl Favre
Hi tmvision, On which steps of the registration are you redirected to the root directory ?
tmvision
- Users add items to cart. - User goes to checkout. - User is asked to register or login. - User chooses to register. - User enters address and personal details. - User submits. - User is sent back to the root URL. Thanks, Carl.
Carl Favre
I tried and indeed I am redirected to the root url at the end of the registration process. Have you checked SEO&URL ? Nothing wrong ? No problem in the htaccess file either ?
tmvision
No htaccess files exists on the server. How do I check SEO&URL? Is that inside the PS ACP?
Carl Favre
Yes SEO&URL is in PrestaShop backoffice, in preferences tab.
tmvision
Everything seems normal in there I think. PS directory is /shop/, friendly URL's are disabled.
Carl Favre
The same way in Tools>Generator, everything is OK ? I suggest you to also report this problem in the bug tracker. This way a developper will be assigned to your problem.
tmvision
Just followed the instructions in there. Created both an htaccess file and a robots.txt file and assigned them 777 CHMOD permissions. Didn't change anything though. Hmm.
Carl Favre
Can I take a look at your back-office ? Can you send me the access info in PM ?

tmvision
Bumping the topic. Is anybody able to take a look at this for me?
Carl Favre
Hi tmvision, Sorry I was not available the past few days. As I told you in PM, you should post your problem on the forge. It is the fastest way to have an answer from a developper. Do not forget to precise your PrestaShop version.
