Importing Data

Hello.

 

Recently I failed updating my Prestashop installation from 1.2 to 1.4.5.1 (http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/138830-failed-update). We haven't been able to get it up and running, so I'm thinking I might just re-install the latest version of Prestashop and then import my theme and data.

 

Would this be a good approach? What procedure should I be following? Is there something else you would recommend? I have backups of both the files and the database.
