kolin5355
Hi all I am new in presta . I receive update for 1.4.5.1 . So i try to update by pressing update in my hosting Control panel. System showed latest version , and i login to back office and check it out . is still the same 1.4.4.1. So i try to download and upgrade manually . I paste all the file in to FTP , and following remove install folder and i success to login to back office . But i found my Main Logo is back to default . So i upload again end up with no problem . as normal i operate back office and i decide to install some module . That is the time i found the error . Module page is empty , but the page is finish load . I guess is the script error due to my manual installation , perhaps i made some mistake while upload or install . Need pros to help , i need advice what troubleshooting i can do and fix it , Is it need to re install? Or have some simple way to do it? For me any solution can be accept , but as long can save my setting , data , all my work will do. Thank you all in advance . Thanks You
Snade
Hi, did you followed CAREFULLY the instructions for manual update ? Since I haven't encountered such problem, and I cant diagnose it just from the info you give, my advice is to make a clean new install, saving only the database, the images and any custom theme and modules.
