Modify translations not working

Recommended Posts

Just upgrade to 1.1 and it looks like everything is working apart from the "Modify translations" where you press the flag to make changes etc.

When you press the flag nothing happens?

Anybody any ideas were I've gone wrong..

Cheers

Where You are try to modify this translation? In what section. And also - which languages are enabled?

Thanks for the reply,

It's in Back office - Tools - Translation - "Modify Translation" Box, then click flag..

And the only lannguages enabled are "English (English) en"

I need to change info in the Legal, terms and conditions of use, About us etc pages and reading through the forums, using the "Modify Translation" is the best way to do this...

Cheers

This is found in Tools -> CMS

Not in the version I'm using (Version 1.1.0.5), so I'm I missing some files or is there a new version than the one I'm using...

cheers

Well, then you have a differend version 1.1.0.5 the I have.....

Seems some people have "Tools -> CMS" and some don't on the same version... :-S

Still doesn't expain why "Modify translations" is not working..

But thanks for your reply..

Anybody any more idea's of what to check next..

That explains a lot!

If you have a clean install of 1.1.0.5 then it should be there, there is no "other" 1.1.0.5 version.

If you upgraded from a previous version then something went wrong and you should fix that first (maybe more is wrong).

Like I said, check if it is a clean install or an upgrade.

Yep it was a upgrade, did as it said new folder then copy settings file etc etc.

I will check later today if all the files have been uploaded etc.

Thanks again for your time

Update to this, checked to make sure all the files were uploaded and still getting same problem and no Tools - CMS 8-/

Update:.... Now have Tools - CMS, after finding this bit of info :)

Add the tab manually

Tools->Tabs->Add new

Name:CMS
Class:AdminCMS

Parent: Tools
