New Order - not receiving emails

Hi,

 

I stopped getting "New order received" emails when client makes a purchase. And same for the client, they stopped receiving "Order Confirmation" email.

Any ideas why this is happening?

This has happened to me also, I no longer get mail alerts and neither do customers. It was working perfectly fine for 10 (6 for 1.3 + 4 for 1.4) months and has suddenly stopped. I use the sendmail php() function, host is 1and1. No probs perviously.

 

Does anyone know whats happend?

On Prestashop 1.4.5 the Mail Alerts module is disabled by default.

 

SOLUTION:

1. Go to MODULES in back-office

2. Under Administration tab, find Mail Alerts

3. Install Module (and configure if necessary)
