stmurphy42
Why does Prestashop show a price with tax included in the product description? I want to show the retail price WITHOUT tax.In the cart the price is shown with tax included. Then there is this total with tax "excluded". IMHO this is simply ass backwards from every other cart system in existence. Is there a way to change the cart layout in my theme to match what I want? How can the shop show a price with tax when you don't even know if tax should be applied to a product until you find our where it's being shipped to? The wiki is mostly useless as it's too old and doesn't jive with the latest stable version. In setting up a product, it doesn't make sense to me why I should put a tax rule on a product. Shouldn't it be just taxable or not taxable and figure out taxes when checking out and you have a shipping address? Amazon does this pretty well. Why doesn't Prestashop. I'm frustrated and seriously stuck implementing a store for a business because I can't work out these damn tax issues. Anyway help would be greatly appreciated. I've attached some photos to hopefully help.
