[SOLVED] TMP folder within IMG directory is violating security rules! Must change its name! Doesn't work!

Recommended Posts

Hello

my host is using a system with some security rules, which doesn't allow me to store images into TEMP or TMP folder, so I have to rename this folder.

Ofcourse I know, how to rename a folder but i don't know, which PHP file should I modify to set the new path, so instead of TMP name would be TEMPIMAGES.

Can someone please help me?

Thanks,
Housy

Something isn't working properly otakarw =/

I see images in FRONTOFFICE but there is a little problem in the BACKOFFICE (admin area), because some images cannot be seen, i see the question mark image (?).

Why is that?

I really don't know. I shlould not be related each other. Weird behaviour. And if you upload new image? Is it working at least this way? I mean Can you upload new image? Maybe thumbnails of this size are not generated hard to say. I am sorry

So I have found out that if you open asministration these img files are loaded from tmp folder. Right click o pic and adress is eg:http://domain.tld/img/tmp/product_mini_12.jpg

That is really weird, I mean i changed the path for _PS_TMP_IMG_DIR_ constant, so I don't really understand, why this is happening

There must be some other file, I have to modify, I guess.

Thanks,
Housy

Yesss, I found a solution :-)

Just open images.inc.php file, then go to line 89 and change the image path =)

That is the line, that has to be modified:

return '';

Thats it :-P

Many thanks otakarw, you really helped me a lot.

Cheers, Housy
